Peak 30A Tee

Most people drive through Blue Mountain Beach without knowing what they just passed. That's fine. That's part of the deal. What they missed was the highest point on the entire Gulf Coast between Mexico and Maine. Dunes that climb above everything — the road noise, the crowds, the carefully designed perfection of the towns on either side. Up here the Gulf stretches further than it does anywhere else on 30A. Up here the air is different and the view earns itself and the people who find it tend to get very quiet for a moment. Blue Mountain Beach never chased the attention. Some places are content to simply be the best one in the room without announcing it. THE PEAK OF 30A.
